# Check addresses in the dashboard

> Check one address, upload a spreadsheet, and decide on field visits from the Business Dashboard.

Use the Business Dashboard when you want to check addresses without calling the API. The spreadsheet upload is only available here. An API key cannot upload the file.

1. Log in to the [Business Dashboard](https://b2b-hub.rundeliverys.com/login) (production) or [staging ↗](https://b2b-dev.rundeliverys.com/login).

A company with Address Verification sees **Dashboard**, **Wallet**, **Verifications**, **Insights**, **Developers**, and **Settings**. A company that also has Delivery keeps the delivery pages and gains **Verifications**.

The home page shows the wallet balance and the address-check charts. When a field visit is still waiting for a decision, a green banner appears. **Review visits** opens the list where you accept or decline.

## Staging samples

On staging, these addresses return a fixed result so you can try each outcome. Type the address as written. A live key on production treats the same text as a normal address. The price is the rate on your account.

> **12 Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi, Lagos**
>
> Status is `confirmed`. The pin is filled in. The normal check price is charged. No webhook.

> **5 Thompson Avenue, Ikoyi, Lagos**
>
> Status is `processing`. The normal check price is held. The note says the check is still running. No webhook yet.

> **22 Fola Osibo Street, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos**
>
> Status is `not_found`, with a field visit offered. Nothing is charged and nothing is held.

> **54 Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos**
>
> Opens as `processing`, then closes as `not_confirmed`. The hold is released. The webhook is sent.

> **9 Oduduwa Street, GRA Ikeja, Lagos**
>
> Opens as `processing` with the visit price held, then closes as `unreachable`. The visit rate is charged. The note is “The address was not there.” The webhook is sent.

## Check one address

Open **Verifications**, then **Single**.

Type the address. Nothing is suggested. **Your reference** is required. Run fills a reference you can change. Then choose **Check address**.

The result is one message. It shows the status, the note, and the charge. When a field visit is offered, **Accept** and **Decline** are on that result. Each one asks you to confirm. The decision cannot be undone.

Past checks are on **History**. Each row shows when the check was created and when it was finished, with the time.

## Check many addresses

Open **Verifications**, then **Bulk**.

1. Download the template.
2. Upload `.xlsx`, `.xls`, or `.csv`.
3. Review the rows. A short address, a missing reference, or a repeated reference must be fixed before you can continue. This preview does not charge.
4. Confirm. Run shows the wallet balance, the rate, and the total. If the balance is short, fund the wallet first.

After confirm, you get the same result message as a single check.

## Field visits

Open offers stay on **Verifications**, then **Field visits**, until you decide. The home banner points there.

**Accept** starts the visit. The wallet must cover the visit price from the available balance.

**Decline** sets the check to declined and removes the offer. Nothing is charged.

## Insights

**Insights** shows calls, the confirmed rate, spend, and the wallet balance. One date filter covers the checks chart and the confirmed, not confirmed, and unreachable chart. A company that also has Delivery keeps the delivery insights and sees these numbers beside them.

## Developers

**Developers** stays the current page. The API key card shows the scopes, including `ava:read` and `ava:write` when the company has Address Verification. The webhook card lists `ava.verification.completed`. A company that only has Address Verification starts with that event selected. A company that also has Delivery keeps the shipment events and can add this one. Webhook deliveries stay on the same deliveries page.
